Visibility is down by half, if not more, these few days. How do I know? I don't, except for the fact that I can't even see Bukit Timah from my room window anymore. Most girls out there (remember: MOST) always experience "that time of the month", and here Singapore is experiencing "that time of the year" again. Its probably the forest fires in Sumatra, if not the cause of burning of joss paper by the many devotees around the country. Yes I'm talking about Hungry Ghost Month, and if you are quite clueless as to what it is, I suggest stepping on some offerings you see by the roadside or pavement and see what happens. That aside, the haze had better clear up soon, or more people including me will start dropping dead with more dust in their lungs than I have on my stack of chemistry books and notes. Hell is already quite full I presume, so I'd reckon they would not have any vacancies at the moment. Speaking of which, Hell Notes being burnt are valued by the trillions, or maybe even gazillions (is there such a word?). I wonder, is inflation that bad down there? I guess when the aggregate demand increases too much due to people dying but the aggregate supply cannot meet the demands, the general price level increases. Moral of the story? More research should be funded to prevent people from dying. Unless hell is like soul society in Bleach, then people would be dying to get there (pun intended).


Back to the mundane reality. Classes have been fine so far. Except for the fact that many have not done their holiday assignments, some still have hangovers from BEING DRUNK during the holidays (yes Karl that's you), and promos are coming up in little more than 2 weeks. On a lighter note, class chalet has been confirmed, slated to take place on the [13th - 15th OCT 2009] , at NSRCC Tanah Merah. Go find out how to go there by yourself, because if you ask me for directions, we might all end up somewhere in the middle of Pahang (that's in Malaysia, FYI). Elias should be emailing the class soon so I guess we'll be remaining in Singapore for the time being. It's quite amazing actually, because we put this up in what, 2 days? Thanks to the rather efficient organizing team and the huge amount of luck that was garnered by our lucky undies combined. The date for chalet was perfect, and the last few slots for the chalet were just screaming "BOOK ME NOW" in our faces when we checked. Being morally upright citizens, we couldn't say no, could we? Looking forward to it though, we'll get to see the dark side of the class. Of course, I'll remain an angel as always. Excuse me while I go take the puke bucket.

It's a good way to end the exams rather: have a little fun first then come back to line up before the guillotine (except ZuoYi and a few others, of course, they'd be manning it). Like the saying goes, All work but no play makes Jack a dull boy. The problem is, my name is not Jack, neither is anybody in 0903, so we can play all we want. I just hope very much our class count remains at 29 next year (or maybe 28), and that nobody will be less than SUCCESSful for promos.
