Where Giants Fear to Tread
Finally its the last day of the hungry ghost month, so I guess they should be quite full now. I can sympathize with them being hungry all the time because I am too, but nobody offers me food. What a waste. The last day also means no more burning, offerings on the ground, and most importantly, NO MORE GETAI. Seriously I think the whole purpose of Getai is not to serve as entertainment to the ghosts, but rather drive them back. Seriously, who can listen to the tone deaf singing and still have his or her ear drums intact. The choice of music is still rather traditional, but I wonder, in the future will Getais feature music like Fall Out Boy, Green Day or even J-pop to some extent? I'd reckon it will, and if it does, I won't mind it everyday, with the exception of the tone deaf singing.
Some issues in class have been cleared: Conflicts resolved (at least I think they have), Chalet confirmed (although some haven't paid), and homework all accounted for (at least for me, hurray). Promos are in two weeks, I'd guess its enough time to prepare. Econs is starting to pick up (HAHA ELIAS AND KARL), but I can't say the same for chem, which has about 1cm thick layer of dust settling around it as of now. Nevertheless, I must pass it, and by pass I mean an E. Which is an achievement already if you ask me.
On a brighter side, my EOM has been approved of, although it took like, 5 drafts? And WR has gotten high ME, which means I can soon wash my hands off with Dettol this Son of a Karl piece of work. (yes Elias I know you got EE) Now all that's left is I&R, whatever that is.
And dinner, of course, I'm off to celebrate the Hungry Shaohua Festival.
