Bittersweet Sensation
Got back promos results yesterday, was both quite happy and disappointed at the same time. I'll post the final results when they're released, but I'll just say that I'm gonna be J2 next year. Can't say the same for some of my classmates though, their future is uncertain. I know very well this is a sensitive topic to some, but hiding it won't change what's been carved in stone, and its a fact already. Of course, I feel sorry for some of them, especially people like Yuxun, whom I sincerely believe worked very hard (way harder than me) for this promos, but still didn't clear this final hurdle. So to all those who didn't make it: don't fret just yet, as long as the promotional meeting is not over, there's still a silver lining to be seen.
Bio was an utter disappointment, I mean, out of the 4 classes I asked, only 2 people from my class passed paper 2. What the Karl? I'm not one of the ones that passed, but my case was borderline. Can't say the same for some though.
Enough with results, what's over is over, so lets just move forward shall we?
Went to the Equinox @ The Swissotel Stamford for "High Tea". The "High" part was right in every manner. The buffet was simply Godly, Heavenly, Divine, any word you can think of right now to describe good food. Don't you sometimes wish that you had a bottomless stomach so that you could singlehandedly wipe out the whole buffet? The only turn off, unfortunately, was the Laksa. Maybe its because I've acquired an exquisite taste for Katong Laksa, but to foreigners it should be respectable at least. Having said all that, "With great power comes great responsibility", and hence "With great food comes a great price tag". I'll just say the price for one person is half of my monthly allowance.
Off to sleep now with a full stomach , like a pig. (Pigs are smart, FYI)
