This will be the last post of the year, so I'll make it the longest. I'll try to anyway. This year has been a roller coaster for me, with many ups and downs, but mostly downs I suppose. Still, I'm thankful that I lead a rather normal and decent life, I'm not starving on the streets or missing a limb or two. It could be better, but I'll settle for this anyway, since its the end of the year.

First off, the boring part (at least for you guys, whoever you are).
2009 saw the release of some rather good game titles such as Resident Evil 5, Killzone 2, Guitar Hero 5 and Modern Warfare 2, all of which I have in my arsenal. Sad to say, Final Fantasy XIII and God of War III is out next year in March, and Versus XIII is out in god knows when. The dreaded A levels loom over the course of next year, and I'll just limit myself to those 2 games next year. I promise.


This year was also a rather bad year for my archery, well, due to the fact I only went to 2 competitions, with the second one being my last because, well, my string snapped. Compound strings are bloody hard to find in the country, so it took me months to find a replacement, and even so, the replacement was not perfect. Next year's gonna be the last year for me in the Inter-School, so its my last chance to nab another medal for it. Not just that, also to win all the competitions that I join in (excluding the NUS open, that's suicide). My medal tally after 1 year stands at 3 Golds and 8 Silvers, I'll try to up that next year.


Now onto my school, which is actually the main part of my life now, unfortunately. Not that I don't like my school, but to have your life revolving around some educational institute, it really makes you think, am I wasting my life away? Of course you are. But hey, its just for 2 years, so I'll bear with it.

First off, my class. Yup, we're not the most wonderful, or most enthusiastic, or most outstanding class, neither are we the smartest (on the other end of the scale, in fact) but its kind of the perfect class for me. Alright its not totally perfect, but its almost perfect. The people inside make the grueling life in JC a lot easier than its supposed to be. We have Karl, Elias, Joseph, Zhi Jian, Joled, Jun An, Yu Xun, Linus, Andy, Jun Jie, Kelvin, Lance, Elaine, Zuo Yi, Yia Kuan, Michelle, Li Ting, Yan Ling, Dan Hui, Shu Yi, Hai Fang, Wan Shu, Samantha, Fang Yin, Jorene, Patricia & Charis. Yeah although some are retained, and Elias is gonna get transferred for some stupid reason, we'll all still be part of 0903. (except Elias nobody cares about him)
Mostly I hang out with Karl, Joseph and ZhiJian, and sometimes Lance. Oops I forgot Elias, but nobody cares right? Of course you don't. Thanks for all the crap you've given me and the crap you've taken from me. Expect plenty more next year, I'm a generous person after all.

I dub thee as the CCA with one of the worst attendance in the school, but I'm staying on because I love Photography. The EXCO members make it much easier for me in dealing with many of the irritating events and activities, Geraldine, Kaiyuan, Eileen and JieQi. Even though Geraldine stepped down for personal reasons, she will still be the president in our hearts and eyes. That just means we want her to do the work. Oh Ho, busted. Also, I appreciate the usual few who almost always turn up for meetings or go for activities and cover events when they're told to, because every body likes obedient dogs. I mean dependable members. Joshua, OliViA, Cindy, Candace, Wan Ti, Ming Hong, Geraldine Lye, Zhi Quan, Qing Ran, Renee, Chan Hong. The other members are seemingly non-existent, so if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of them. Also, the teachers Mr Seng Mr Chua and Ms Chua (their not related, I hope) , who joined us recently, for their valuable advice and their understanding and patience towards us, because we're not exactly a dream CCA, although I am trying to make it into one the next year. To all those going into JC next time, JOIN A CCA YOU LIKE. Like seriously.

The wildest class I've been to, more wild then 03, was also the class that I've had the most fun in. My closest friends are from here, so you can expect a long paragraph, no? Maybe. It'll depend on my mood for the next 5 minutes. Obviously there's the usual gang I'm with, and still with now, JiaQi, Anselm, Boon (who's birthday is tomorrow, like finally), and parts of the DOTA gang. Frankly I find DOTA stupid, just click and click and click away. Sure I'm offending millions of DOTA players worldwide, but I don't freaking care. Yup. Back to the topic, there's Vanessa (my 'Sis'), Nicole (I still remember you smashed my face with a book), Xiangling and gang, the few girls here and there, and Jing Yu. Yup. Thanks for (almost) always being there for me when I needed it, I really appreciate it, even though we are seriously polar opposites, we just seem to get along quite well. Don't be mistaken, she's not a love interest of mine or anything, just a really good friend. Besides, if I'm with her, I'll suffer mental trauma everyday. Yeah I know what's your expression's gonna be like if you read this, but nobody does anyway.

This class is a different case, probably the smartest class I was ever in. I mean, about 1/4 of the class is in HCI now. The others are in somewhat top schools while suckers like me chose normal JCs like NY. Not that I'm complaining, I could easily went into ACJC or AJC if I wanted, but religious and personal reasons told me to do otherwise. Still a crazy class, with the likes of Hmm Ji, Kiwi, Mop, You Ji, Jos, Ben, Yubei, Potato, Yeti, Mutated Bear, Bush, Orang Utan, and others. Names have been modified to keep their identities a secret. Find out who they are. Met up with them a while ago, details in the previous post.
