A moment's respite
Finally a day where I can take a deep breathe, empty my lungs, and lie on my bed doing nothing.
Things have been really hectic the past few days, with all the A div's going on at the moment Photog's really more scrambled that eggs on a platter. Consider it pre-stepping down syndrome, or going off with a bang, its a bittersweet feeling knowing I'm stepping down already. Time flies. At least I know the CCA is in the good hands of the teachers and the 18 or so J1s applying for EXCO.
Signed up for archery during PE enrichment program starting next week. I know many people's reactions were like "huh you go there for what you so pro already" or "why waste money go learn something new la". I just like to shoot. I'm prepared already because I know there's probably nobody I know there and the equipment will be shitty and the arrows will probably be slightly bent or the bows will have certain cracks or the arrow rests will be broken or strings frayed. Still, I loved shooting and I still do, although I sold my bow (and waiting for a new one *hints*) and I'm in photography now, given a choice I'd choose Archery over Photography. Photography is kind of just a hobby, Archery is my passion. Not till the point of being my career but yeah, you get the point.
That was a mouthful. Borrowed a book from the library, "Charles Darwin on 'The Origin of Species'" a whopping 500 plus pages, and I'm gonna read it now.
