Until we meet again, Nihon
Just had a wonderful and memorable 6 days in Kyushu, Japan. Really its the first holiday I've been to that I didn't want to go home at the end of the trip. There's really so much to do and see there, and Japan being my favorite country helps too. I'll just briefly narrate what was done there, and I'll let my photos do the talking. Because, you know, a picture speaks a thousand words. Hence I'll upload my 2 million word essay onto FB sometime soon.

First thing about Japan, is that, the people. Are. Damn. Bloody. Polite. Like really a stark contrast to Singapore in terms of service. Long way to go, Garden City. For instance, I went to the hotel lobby at night just to get a drink, and when the receptionists saw me they immediately stood up and bowed and wished me good evening. Like wow. If it was me I'll just smile and go back to my slacking. Its contagious, really. Even I started to BOWONS (Bow on sight) to anybody I saw there, and also just saying hi for fun. Don't be surprised if I start bowing suddenly if you see me.

Secondly, their level of technology is leaps and bounds of that of Singapore's. Especially the godly toilet bowls which are automated ass-cleaners and leave your A-hole cleaner than polished marble after it's done it's dirty work. Schools have them. Hotels have them. Even roadside inns have them. Even their roadside convenience store's toilet is cleaner than my room. Maybe I should just go there and sleep someday.

Thirdly, Japan is quite an open society. And by open I mean porn and hentai magazines are displayed openly on shelves in convenience and manga stores to tempt small little children and Karls to open them and pollute their mind. Only the childrens' minds though, Karl's more polluted than the Singapore river 40 years back already. Not that I mind, but think of the children. Think, damn it, lucky bastards.

Lastly, the stuff there are super nice. As Newton's law states, for every force exerted there is an equal and opposite force. So for all the nice stuff that we get to buy, the price is equally nice. Nice enough to burn a small hole in your small pocket.

I'll upload the photos onto facebook soon, I think it does the trip more justice compared to just writing about it here.

I miss you already.
